Nick Jr’s Little Bill

This was my first job after I graduated from The School of Visual Arts. I met a lot of talented people on this production whom I am still great friends with today. I started as a digital puppet rigger using After Effects 4 on Mac OS 9 and worked my way up to an Assistant Director. Mac G3 and G4s had just started to become available. It was an interesting time for digital animation production. The only other project Nickelodeon had done in NYC in this way was Blue’s Clues.

Nearing the end of the production I was offered to illustrate a few picture books. This job gave me a lot of different avenues to explore in my career as an artist.
